Dear Friend,
On behalf of the JonCade Thomas Clemons Memorial Scholarship Fund, we extend our thanks to you for participating in and contributing to the 10th Annual Sporting Clay Tournament held this past March. Because of your generosity, we raised over $164,000 in funds for scholarship distribution to area graduates. Your contributions allow us to give back to the community in loving memory of JonCade.
Recently, our selection committee of three retired educators and one retired oilfield manager completed the recipient list of this year’s scholarships. Through a total of 221 applications from Louisiana students, 9 recipients were chosen on the basis of academic achievement, financial need and involvement in extracurricular activities and community programs, demonstrating leadership and strong citizenship characteristics.
